Conren Tramway arrives in Madrid. The Catalan developer has purchased its first asset in the capital from Telefónica to transform it into a medium-term residential building that it will manage under its own brand, Archie Living . The Barcelona-based company has chosen the Atocha area to acquire its first property, in which it hopes to invest sixty million euros.
The developer founded between the brothers Chinese Student Phone Number List Jaime-Enrique and Paco Hugas and the German firm Conren Land has reached an agreement with Telefónica to buy the building located at number 5 Batalla del Salado street, at the intersection with Delicias. The operation has been financed by a loan granted by BBVA, through a 'sale&leaseback' agreement.
The Madrid property has a surface area of 8,000 m2 distributed over four floors above ground. The remodeling project of the property involves having more than one hundred rental homes, common areas such as large terraces, swimming pools, gyms and loading spaces and micromobility parking. In addition, it has services such as counseling, a coworking area, weekly cleaning and sports and social activities for tenants.
The company has already been operating with its new residential management brand in Barcelona since the beginning of 2023. The offer consists of high-quality homes with one, two or three bedrooms. To continue growing in this division, the company is looking for assets of between 5,000 m2 and 10,000 m2 in Madrid and Barcelona , as well as in other provincial capitals. The company also does not rule out making the leap to Lisbon.
Another of the company's large residential projects is the Mercedes eco-district in Barcelona. The complex totals almost nine hectares and will have offices, shops, homes and public facilities, among others. In addition, it has been conceived under sustainability solutions that seek to combat climate change.
